BCS Championship Countdown
For the first time since Vince Young's epic showing at the 2006 BCS National Title Game in Pasadena, CA, the BCS Championship Game returns to the Rose Bowl in 2010. In that game, Young and the Texas Longhorns denied the USC Trojans a three-peat run at the national title as the future NFL quarterback ran the game-winning touchdown into the endzone with less than a half-minute to play.
BCS Tickets
The 2008 BCS National Championship Game was again a sell-out record crowd of nearly 80,000 spectators as fans filled the Louisiana Superdome to the top. With the 2010 BCS National Title Game taking place at the Rose Bowl, which boasts a capacity of more than 90,000 fans, attendance could set an all-time BCS record. Tickets, however, will be as hard to come by as ever, as the country's top two college football teams go head-to-head.
BCS Contenders
LSU, Ohio State, and Florida have made sure that the SEC and Big Ten Conferences have been well represented in recent years. But college football is one sport where each game matters so much that sustaining such prominence is extremely difficult. So who will make a run at an unbeaten season? Can the USC Trojans throw their name in the hat, or could it possibly be the Oklahoma Sooners making nosie? What about the likes of the Florida State Seminoles, Miami Hurricanes, and Virginia Tech Hokies, or perhaps even the Michigan Wolverines?
